Timber price development

After a fantastic 2018, net standing timber prices have decreased in the beginning of 2019. We do not expect any significant price changes within first quarter of 2019. However, despite a robust growing national consumption of raw timber and increasing national investments in plants and machineries, uncertainty about the price development within Q1 occurs – a gradually decrease might be the outcome.

Data is collected monthly in all regions and constitutes a weighted average based on the total private forest areas in all regions of the Baltic States.
