Okira is a good medium-sized forest portfolio in the Central and Eastern part of Latvia with a total of 279 hectares, of which 231 hectares are forest, 32 hectares are agricultural land and the remaining hectares are areas with no production.
The portfolio consists of 13 properties.
The portfolio is attractive with almost half the cubic metres consisting of good middle-aged pine. The species is 47 % pine, which is the highest priced species in the Baltics, 34 % of the timber mass is Birch followed by 8 % common spruce, and the remaining species is aspen, grey alder and white alder. There are possibilities for cashflow with trees in all age classes.
The portfolio comprises 3,220 m3 of mature trees. This gives you an opportunity within a short time frame to pay back any potential external financing or just have a positive return the next 10-15 years.
