Kuusemetsa is a forest portfolio in Estonia with a total of 254 hectares, of which 208 hectares are forest, 21,5 hectares are agricultural land and the remaining hectares are other land.
The portfolio consists of 21 properties spread all over Estonia, the most northern of the three Baltic States.
The main species is birch with 37 %, followed by spruce 25 %, pine 17 %, and the remaining species is aspen, grey alder and white alder. Half of the cubic metres are mature and ready for felling, so there are possibilities for large cashflows now and in the future as there are trees in all age classes. This gives you an opportunity within a short time frame to pay back any potential external financing or just have a positive return the next 10-15 years.
HD Forest is currently managing the portfolio and thus has comprehensive knowledge of the forests.
